Run for M.E.

“We make a living by what we get…but we make a life by what we give.”

– Winston Churchill

Anyone who knows me or has read my story will know that I battled with M.E. (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) also known as CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) in 2016.
Since recovering I have met others who have also been through the same illness, people reached out to me when I was at my worst on social media and it was very comforting to know I was not alone. One of the friends I have been blessed to make since having M.E is James, he shared with me knowledge of the UK Charity Invest in M.E. who do research into the illness particularly into the gut. And so I have been inspired to celebrate my recovery and to raise money for the charity. I will be running 10K on August 6th with friends to shine a light to anyone suffering from M.E. that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and you will come out the other side of this illness stronger for it.
Please take a look at my JustGiving page. If anyone has spare pennies and can donate or share this page it will be very much appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.
