I am GUILTY for spending too much on protein bars and snacks. So it’s time to start finding healthier, refined sugar free & cheaper alternatives. When you add up the daily Protein Bars we buy from supermarkets & healthstores it’s easy for it to end up costing you £50 + a month which is equivalent to a £600+ a year!
I’ve cut down on refined sugars so I also find it extremely hard to find protein bars that are not full of artificial sweeteners and processed sugars. Below is one recipe I’ve created & mastered: homemade protein cookies that contain no artificial sweeteners and the recipe can definitely be changed to your individual taste.

I’ve started having one of these first thing in the morning to get my metabolism fired up with a liter of water before I head to the gym.
2 Scoops Chocolate Protein Powder
100ml Almond Milk
3 tbsp Cacao Powder
2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
1tbsp Total Sweet
Mix well and place on foil to refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
