Self Love – A Beautiful Reminder

You Are Allowed To Be Both

A Masterpiece

And

A Work In Progress,

Simultaneously.

………………………………

You’re are a masterpiece and a work in progress. A powerful message and reminder to start the week. We are such amazing beings and yet at times we can be so hard on ourselves. I am learning to celebrate what is truly magnificent about me rather than constantly reminding myself what I think I need to fix.

Of course, I’m working hard on myself and on having a growth mindset. Wanting to grow and become the best version of me is healthy and I’m happy on my journey of becoming. Becoming is better than being, but I am aware though that it’s essential to practice self love and acceptance too. I know that I am PERFECTLY IMPERFECT and I embrace what makes me who I am.

” I think every single imperfection adds to your beauty. I’d rather be imperfect than perfect.”

– Sonam Kapoor

We all have so many incredible gifts to bring into this world and when we focus on our perceived weaknesses, we block those gifts from coming through. Dive into your true self, beyond your ego MIND that tells you that you aren’t good enough. Know that those negative thoughts do not define you and restrain your true self.

You were created to live life fully and only when you start being kinder to yourself will you truly start living the joy you are meant to feel. You are a MASTERPIECE and a work in PROGRESS. You are UNIQUE and connected to others all at once. EMBRACE your beauty and the journey you are on becoming wiser and more aware everyday.

“Remember always that you not only have the right to be an individual, you have an obligation to be one.”

– Eleanor Roosevelt
