Self Love In Practice Part 1

“Until you value yourself,

you won’t value your time.

Until you value your time,

you will not do anything with it.”

A Few Of My Top Tips For Practicing Self Love:

1. Let it Go! Let it Go!

I struggled for many years saying ‘NO’ and not unloading the baggage of life. People struggle with holding on to things in their past. It does have an effect on us. It can lower our self esteem and can drain us of energy taking away our zest for life.

Getting rid of our emotional baggage can help us move on and really live BIG. We naturally protect ourselves from hurting. It is hard to face fears that we’ve never confronted in the past. But it does hold you back from becoming your optimal self loving self.

You just can’t please everyone and its a waste of my time trying. I decide to just do my best each day.

You only deserve people in your life who make you feel amazing, getting rid of all toxic relationships is liberating.

2. Have Daily Affirmations Like Jessica

Start each day by telling yourself out loud a positive affirmation. For example something you like about yourself, how well you handled a situation or perhaps how lovely you look today.

Anything that will make you smile.

3. Be Around People Who Lift Your Soul

Surround yourself with people who love and encourage you. Agree with them when you’re paid a compliment and allow them to remind you just how amazing you are.

4. Give Yourself A Pat On The Back

Miracles happen every day, may they be small or big. Commemorate your achievements no matter how big or small. Pat yourself on the back and be proud of what you have accomplished each day.

“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.”

– Lucille Ball
